Feature Overview #

This module helps you:

• Maintain a list of all medicines and drugs.
• Store manufacturer and active ingredient details.
• Track withdrawal periods for milk safety.
• Link drugs with stock items for automatic inventory deduction.
• Enable or disable drug records when needed.

What You Can Do #

1️⃣ View Drug Types #

1. Open the Drug Type page.
2. You will see a list of all medicines.
3. Each record shows name, manufacturer, ingredient, and withdrawal period.

2️⃣ Add a New Drug Type #

1. Click “Add Drug Type”.
2. Enter the drug name.
3. Add the manufacturer and active ingredient.
4. Enter the withdrawal period (in days).
5. Enter the strength and unit (example: 500 mg).
6. (Optional) Link a stock item for inventory tracking.
7. Set the status (Active/Inactive).
8. Click Save.

3️⃣ Edit a Drug Type #

1. Click Edit next to a drug.
2. Update any details such as name, safety info, or stock link.
3. Click Update to save changes.

4️⃣ Delete a Drug Type #

1. Click Delete next to a drug.
2. Confirm the action.
3. The drug will be permanently removed.
