The Stock Category Management section helps you organize inventory items into categories (such as Antibiotics, Feed, Vitamins). Each category is linked to a Stock Type to keep inventory properly structured.

What You Can Do #

1️⃣ View Stock Categories #

1. Open the Stock Category page.
2. You will see a list of all categories.
3. Each row shows the category name, stock type, and status.

2️⃣ Add a New Category #

1. Click “Add Stock Category”.
2. Enter the Category Name.
3. Select a Stock Type (example: Medicine, Feed).
4. (Optional) Add a description.
5. Choose Active/Inactive status.
6. Click Save.

3️⃣ Edit a Category #

1. Click Edit next to a category.
2. Update the name, type, or description.
3. Click Update to save changes.

4️⃣ Delete a Category #

1. Click Delete next to a category.
2. Confirm the action.
3. The category will be removed if not linked to active records.
